Our last project for coding was making a website for the FDR design department in groups of three. Mr. Jordán picked the three leaders, and each leader along with two other teammates made a group. I was one of the leaders, and I was teamed up with Luca and Robert. I personally think that our team is a great team. Everyone respected each other’s opinions, and we didn’t argue over anything. When we had to decide on something, we always asked each other’s opinions. And I feel like there was no gap between me and them. It wasn't like a leader and teammates, we worked as a TEAM.

For this responsive website project, we had to make a responsive, better version of the basic website we had created at the beginning of last year. I was sort of worried at first about making the website responsive, but I was also excited that I can make a website for myself now that I have better skills than I had before.
I would say that I was successful in creating my website. I would consider my website a very successful website, based on my plan and specifications I set at the beginning of the project. It does look like the website I planned to make, and it is responsive. Each color looks good with another, and there are enough white spaces between each content so the website doesn’t look so compact. The typography, too; fonts look good with each other. For this project, we were supposed to design a layout of a website using Font Awesome, which is a set of icons that is commonly used in websites nowadays. I decided to make a layout of a website called Violina(which I had created) because violin is one of the things that I’m passionate about and I thought it would be great to make a website for it.
For the second summative, we had to make a webpage that contains 5 words that describe ourselves with design that matches with them. Mr. Jordán told me that the color of my background kind of overwhelms the fonts. I chose pink because I’ve tried black, white, gray, etc. as background colors, but they didn’t look good with the words(and fonts and design). I think I should learn more about choosing colors in a website or also in other places.
At the beginning of this school year, Mr. Jordán asked us this question: How can you be empathetic to others if you’re not empathetic with yourself? So for coding summative, we had to make a basic website that is about us, and what we like. So I included “About me,” “Hobbies and Interests,” “Countries I’ve lived in,” and “Contact” pages.
