This was my third time visiting Paris. The first time was when I went with my family in 2007, for my parents' 10th wedding anniversary. The second time was when I went with other representatives of Colegio FDR for the COP21 climate change conference in 2015. And this time, I again went with my family for my parents' 20th wedding anniversary. Although I had been to Paris a couple of times, it was still beautiful and full of new things. It's like I see and experience different things every time I go.
🌍Switzerland was so beautiful. The country itself just makes you feel like you’re a professional photographer. However you take it, it looks good. It’s so beautiful. After I came back, I was going over the pictures to see and delete some for the storage, but I couldn’t delete any of them because they were all so nice. I’m jealous of the people who live in Switzerland; they get to see that pretty view every day! Plus, Switzerland is perfect for me because I don’t like darkness and night, and in Switzerland, the sky remains bright until like 10 PM.
💜Zurich Even though we stayed in Zurich for only 1 day, I can still remember the city and the streets vividly. The sky that remained bright until 10 PM. I will never forget it. We were struggling with buying tram tickets at the airport, and I even miss that. I wish I could be there, struggling with the ticket machine. It was interesting that there was no one that checks if people have tickets or not. I guess people trust each other and everyone is honest. 💙Luzern For me, Luzern was the most beautiful city out of all the places I’ve been to. The Mount Rigi, the lion monument, Kapellbrücke, and the streets. They were so pretty, so European. I was actually really sad that I could stay there for such little time and that I had to go to Zermatt that night(I did not know at the moment that Zermatt would be wonderful; I thought Zermatt would be just like a countryside.). Because my dad and brother insisted, we had to come down the mountain on food; not all of it, but at least part of it. I really didn’t want to walk, because I was so tired. And why walk when there’s a train that can take you to the bottom of the mountain? But now I miss that time. I really want to be on the Rigi mountain, looking at and enjoying the beautiful view. I want to walk down the mountain for hours and hours and just be there. 💚Zermatt Zermatt was like a small town from a fairytale. There were no cars except the ones that move by electricity. All the buildings were like 3 stories high and it seemed like most of the buildings were wooden. The town looked like the setting of the story Hansel and Gretel. The Matterhorn was really beautiful, too. It has been a long long time since I haven't seen snow because it doesn't snow in Peru, and I was so happy and that I could see snow. I couldn't believe that I was actually seeing that mountain from Paramount movies. It looked the same; so gorgeous. One fun fact was that they were selling Korean cup ramens on the Matterhorn observatory. It was really expensive, though. I would never forget that hot chocolate I had there. I was so sad that I had to leave this beautiful town, even though there were more and more beautiful places left to go. 💛Bern Bern, the city where Einsteinhaus is. It is a formal residence where Albert Einstein once lived. His house was cozy with a pretty view. I thought his room would be more formal and stuffy, as he is a genius physicist. If you walk along the street, you'll soon reach a lake whose water color is the most beautiful water color I have ever seen. It was like light turquoise. Light sea green. Light blue. I was able to see some people swimming. I remember eating Thai food there. It didn't seem like a best choice for me because I would rather have eaten more European food in Europe than Asian food. But I even miss that restaurant. It was a small restaurant, we were eating outside and my brother was filming the street with his GoPro. I wish I could go back to the moment. ❤️Geneva To me, Geneva seemed like the most European city. It does not mean that it was the most beautiful, it just looked European. The streets, the parks, the atmosphere; they were just like other European countries I've been to before. Maybe that's why. Other cities in Switzerland looked different than other European cities. Anyways. Geneva, was beautiful, obviously, because it's in Switzerland. I had to think for a whlie to understand the meaning of the Broken Chair that is in front of UN building. Maybe the chair represents our world now and the fact that it's broken and unstable means that the world is missing something and it's not stable. When we got out of hotel and took tram to go to the midtown area, at one point the tram stopped suddenly and a baby carriage fell with a baby inside. Everyone, including my mom, stood up right away and went to help the baby and the mom. It turned out that there was an accident and we were not able to use the tram anymore. So we had to walk instead. We were planning on going to this famous Vietnamese(or Thai) restaurant, but then it was closed so we decided to go to a Korean restaurant called Gaya. But then it was also closed! So we went to the Chinese restaurant next to it. After we ate, we went to the Japanese store that was like right next to it and had Korean ice creams. That Japanese store was much bigger than Nikkei. I just wanted to live there.(It's not just because of the food. SHH) I chose to buy a 모찌 ice cream that had chocolate in it(supposedly) but then it turned out that it was red bean, not chocolate. Yikes. I would love to go to Switzerland again; I'm sure I would be able to see different kinds of beauties next time I go. |
